There can be no delusions that the complete overthrow of the US government would be difficult, bloody, frightening, ugly, and possibly a set back for the people of this nation. Neither can there be any delusions catered to that say this nation should remain on the course it has been on.
There is change to be fought for, and a mutltude of ways to get there. The most effective way to start the change is on and individual basis - learning and spreading knowledge..
In reading further, the struggle to reveal to the onlookers what they must look at beyond party line rhetoric will ensue. The reader will find information about the way the US government works, how it was intended to work, and clarify a bit of the terminology that usually confuses.

Even though this stuff isn't taught in schools (certainly not now, and definitely not when I went to school) you should take the time to research them for better understanding of True US History.
Alien and Sedition Acts - deemedUnconstitutional
The Espionage Act of 1917 - see below
The Sedition Act of 1918 - amended and and complimented with legislation to protect while still leaving "wiggle room" - to be exploited.
Alien Registration Act or Smith Act of 1940 - Deemed unconstitutional as long as you remember to cite that pesky right giving you permission to speak.
All of the wrongs of aforementioned bits of legislation are pale by comparison, when pitted against the bit of legislation that sits uncontested, known as The PATRIOT Act 2001
This legislation combines the worst of all the prior passed bits of legislation deemed unconstitutional (or close to it). However, this new legislation has claws that can reach into new places never before imaginable.
And now we have administration coming into power that believes all your rights need to be reasonably limitted - but who is to make such a call?
